On December 10 of this year, employees of the statistics Department of Namangan region held a seminar on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5655 and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 710 dated November 11, 2020 in the great hall of the Khokimiyat of Mingbulak district of Namangan region with the participation of employees of organizations and institutions located in the district.
The seminar covered the organizational and methodological foundations of population cencus, testing of software and technological processes for data processing, training of heads of state and economic management bodies, and local government bodies for population cencus. They were given a comprehensive understanding of their responsibilities in the process of viewing and conducting it.
In addition, it was reported that the population census is important for reliable information, long-term forecasts, development of programs for socio-economic development of the state and employment, formation of indicators of national sustainable development goals, studying the processes of placement and use of labor resources, and conducting scientific research.
