The seminar, initiated by the Andijan Regional Department of Statistics, was held at the Andijan State Technical Institute on the topic "On the ongoing work to prepare for and conduct the Population and Agricultural Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The event was attended by the head of the Andijan Regional Department of Statistics, staff of the Division for organizing and conducting census processing, as well as professors and students of the institute.
At the seminar, representatives of the regional statistics department provided detailed information about the essence and significance of the population and agricultural census, the current state of the preparatory processes, and the recommendations of international organizations for conducting censuses.
The participants also exchanged views on what aspects should be paid attention to when conducting this event.
The seminar was full of heated debates and discussions. Experts answered students' questions in detail.
