On January 28, 2017, a seminar on the topic “Importance of conducting of Census Population” was held at the Samarkand State Institute of foreign languages in the city of Samarkand.
It was attended by specialists from the department of organizing and conducting census processes of the regional statistics specialists, university staff, teachers and students.
The event participants were explained the meaning of the population census, its role in the formation of state socio-economic programs and the essence of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 "On measures to prepare and conduct the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023."
At the end of the Seminar, the experts answered the questions of the participants.
