On December 23 of this year, the Department of organization and conduct of census processes of the Department of Statistics of the Jizzakh region held an event on the preparation and conduct of the population census.
At the seminar, information was provided on the work carried out by the department for organizing and conducting census processes on the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 710 of November 11, 2020 "On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023".
Taking into account that the population census is comprehensive and is in the center of attention of observers of international organizations, explanations were given on the need for high-quality implementation of the tasks set in conjunction with relevant organizations on the fields. In particular, the district cadastral department and the department for support of the mahalla and family jointly developed a map and a schematic plan of each settlement, full reflection of houses and apartments in it, constant updating of information about the household and population in the mahalla.
Also, the seminar participants were familiarized with the forms of the questionnaire and given practical explanations on how to fill them out.
