In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of November 11, 2020 No. 710, to conduct a population census is planned in 2023.
In the meeting room of the Samarkand regional statistical department, the department for organizing and conducting the population census held a seminar with the participation of heads of preschool educational organizations of the city of Samarkand.
At the seminar, given that for the first time a population census is being conducted in the republic since independence, in order to thoroughly prepare and conduct it in a high-quality manner, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023” information was provided that a population census will be carried out in the republic in 2023.
The specialists spoke in detail about the work done to date to prepare for the population census, as well as about the tasks that need to be implemented in the future.
