Dear Compatriots, First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all citizens who actively participated in the first — online — stage of the Population and Agricultural Census. We would like to remind you that the online web platform has been completed within the established timeframe and is no longer available for registration.
From 4 to 28 February 2026, the second stage of the census will be conducted. During this stage, census enumerators — representatives of the mahalla — will carry out door-to-door visits and enter the collected data into the electronic system using tablet devices.
To ensure that the process is conducted in a transparent and orderly manner, the movements of enumerators are monitored via GPS technology. If data are entered with errors or omissions, or if an enumerator completes a questionnaire without visiting the household and fails to comply with established procedures, such data will not be accepted by the system, and an automatic warning will be sent to the enumerator’s tablet device.
The primary objective of these measures is to ensure the accurate and complete collection of data and to establish a reliable and high-quality database.
Dear Compatriots, If you do not recognize the enumerator who visits your household or if you have any doubts regarding their legitimacy, you are entitled to request the presentation of their official service badge. By scanning the QR code displayed on the badge, you may verify the enumerator’s information, which is recorded in a centralized database. In addition, you may obtain further information about the enumerator by contacting the call center operating via the short number 1851.
In certain cases, enumerators may also visit households of citizens who completed online registration and obtained a certificate during the first stage. This usually occurs when the information provided in the online questionnaire contains errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete data.
Another important aspect is that, in accordance with the recommendations of international organizations, a post-enumeration survey is conducted after the main census in order to assess the accuracy and quality of the collected data. For this purpose, specialists revisit a randomly selected sample of households. Such verification typically covers 10–15 percent of the total number of enumerated households and represents a widely accepted international practice.
As part of the preparatory work, in December 2025, GPS coordinates of more than 7.6 million residential units nationwide were identified. Using this location data, the National Statistics Committee monitors the census process in real time, verifies that enumerators are operating at the designated addresses, and ensures ongoing quality control of the collected data. This approach enables prompt and accurate assessment of progress across all regions.
