In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025 No. DP-173 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated November 26, 2025 No. 742, the state of preparation for the population and agriculture census was studied in the Zarbdor district of the Jizzakh region.
In this regard, officials of the district khokimiyat and a working group headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Y. Usmanov visited the district.
During the visit, the preparations for the population and agricultural census were studied in detail, in particular, the processes of recording the GPS coordinates of residential buildings in a special information system. It was noted that the high-quality and timely implementation of these processes plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the census.
The activities of the census headquarters organized in the district were also reviewed, and a detailed exchange of views took place on the work being carried out jointly with the responsible agencies, existing problems, and the main tasks that need to be implemented in the future.
Following the study, relevant recommendations and instructions were given to further accelerate the preparation for the census, effectively use digital technologies, and ensure the high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks.
