Within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025 No. DP-173 “On conducting a population and agricultural census in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, a set of practical measures is being actively implemented to prepare for the population and agricultural census in the regions.
A training seminar on conducting a population and agricultural census was held at the military unit located in the Urgench garrison of the North-West Military District with the participation of specialists from the Statistics Department of the Khorezm Region.
During the seminar, participants were presented with the goals and objectives of the population and agricultural census, as well as the significance of this process for the socio-economic development of the country. The importance of the active participation of military personnel in conducting census activities was also emphasized.
At the end of the seminar, participants were given answers to their questions, and the practical application of the census data was explained.
