Within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025 No. DP-173 “On the Conduct of the Population and Agriculture Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, practical work continues on the ground.
Chairman of the National Statistics Committee B. Khamraev visited Surkhandarya region and got acquainted with the process of preparation for the population and agricultural census.
During the visit, the activities of the headquarters of the regional statistics department were studied, and necessary instructions were given to improve the effectiveness of organizational work and further develop training. On the same day, B. Khamraev also visited remote areas - the “Mohiyat” mahalla of the Muzrabat district, the “Gulbahor” mahalla of the Termez district, where he familiarized himself with the progress of the early census.
Following the visit, relevant tasks were identified for the effective organization of the population and agricultural census, coordination of the activities of responsible persons, and implementation of the processes at a high level.
