In order to ensure a high-quality organization of the population and agricultural census planned in our country for 2026, continuous monitoring and control of preparatory activities is being carried out across all regions of the country by responsible leaders of ministries and agencies.
For this purpose, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Makhkamov, made a working visit to the Navoi region, where he reviewed the activities of the headquarters established under the regional khokimiyat and held a meeting with its members.
During the working visit, the Minister conducted a comprehensive analysis covering the activities of the headquarters, the implementation of all organizational measures, the level of preparedness of responsible personnel, and the condition of the material and technical resources necessary for conducting the census. Based on the results of the visit, relevant instructions were given to responsible specialists to ensure the timely fulfillment of key tasks.
Upon completion of the visit, the Minister issued a number of specific directives aimed at ensuring the effective conduct of the census. In particular, tasks were defined to improve the quality of census organization processes in the regions, enhance public awareness, and increase the accountability of all involved structures.
