In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025 No. UP-173 “On the Conduct of the Population and Agriculture Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, a training seminar dedicated to the effective organization of tasks in this area was held at the Prosecutor General's Office.
The event was attended by specialists of the National Committee on Statistics and responsible employees of the Prosecutor General's Office, assigned to the Tashkent region for the full implementation and control of the tasks defined by the Decree.
During the seminar, specialists:
- legal and organizational foundations for the preparation and conduct of the census,
- proper organization of the activities of territorial commissions, census headquarters and precincts,
- increasing the responsibility of responsible agencies assigned to the regions,
- detailed explanations were given about the mechanisms for early detection and elimination of possible problems in the field.
Participants actively participated in the seminar, expressed their opinions on the information presented by the speakers, and lively discussions were held. Participants also received comprehensive answers to their questions and presented their proposals for the timely and high-quality implementation of the Decree.
Based on the opinions and suggestions expressed at the end of the seminar, specific measures were identified for further work. Practical recommendations were also given on ensuring the interaction of responsible bodies and agencies in the census process, strengthening the responsibility and control measures of responsible persons assigned to the regions.
