In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-173 “On the Population and Agricultural Census”, as well as in order to thoroughly prepare for this large-scale event, which will be held in 2026, a regular training seminar was held in the hall of the Youth Center for the staff of district headquarters.
This seminar plays an important role in the consistent, clear, and transparent implementation of the census process in the regions. During the event, members of district headquarters were explained in detail the main tasks arising from the requirements of the Decree, the stages of the census process, the coordination of work at the mahalla level, and the importance of interdepartmental cooperation.
Special attention at the seminar was paid to the following issues:
- Legal and organizational foundations of registration, the essence and content of Decree No. UP-173;
- Rules for working with questionnaires, filling them out electronically, and correctly entering information;
- Process and technical requirements for data entry through electronic information systems, in particular, tablets;
- Cooperation with the mahalla seven, new approaches to working with citizens, and awareness-raising mechanisms;
- Monitoring the activities of district headquarters, as well as the procedure for controlling all stages of the process.
During the training sessions, the specialists provided practical instructions and detailed answers to questions that may arise in the qualitative organization of the process. Seminar participants practiced working with electronic platforms through interactive lessons.
At the end of the seminar, the staff of district headquarters received the necessary knowledge and practical skills to conduct a high-level, systematic, and transparent population and agricultural census.
All organizational conditions have been created for the effective conduct of this important social process, which will be held next year, that is, the census, which will last from January 15 to February 28, 2026, and preparatory work is consistently continuing in all regions of the region.
