A population and agricultural census is being conducted in the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 15 to February 28, 2026.
As part of the preparations for this event, a working group led by the First Deputy Director of the Forestry Agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan, G‘ofurjon Yaxshiboyevich Qarshiboyev, visited the city of Namangan to familiarize themselves with the work being carried out.
During the visit, the activities of the registration headquarters, the existing conditions, the level of cooperation between regional organizations, as well as the effectiveness of the preparatory processes were comprehensively studied.
The ongoing awareness-raising work to ensure public engagement in conducting the census, the essence and content of the event, and its objectives were also discussed.
