From January 15 to February 28, 2026, a population and agricultural census will be conducted in the republic, and employees of the "mahalla seven" in the regions will be involved in this event.
Today, the Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, S. Abdullayev, and the Deputy Head of the Regional Department of the National Agency for Social Protection, B. Matnazarov, visited Khiva and familiarized themselves with the preparations for the census. The essence and goals of the population census, as well as the participation of everyone in this process, were discussed.
A conversation was also held with the "seven" of the "Sangar" and "Yangi hayot" mahallas. Mahalla employees were given recommendations on the correct and accurate recording of questionnaires on tablet devices.
