On December 1 of the current year, the employees of the Division of Organization and Conduct of Population Census Processes of the Statistics Department of the Samarkand Region held a seminar-meeting with the participation of the chairmen of the makhalla citizens gathering in the 1st sector of Samarkand city on the implementation of the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 710 dated November 11, 2020. On the basis of the measures set out in the Regulation, the corresponding instructions for the works, which must be carried out in the future, were determined.
According to this Regulation, the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be conducted on November 1-25, 2023. In particular, after information was provided that the pilot population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be conducted on November 1-25, 2021 in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, Khiva city of the Khorezm region, as well as in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city, explanations were given regarding the works which must be done.
Within the framework of this theme, the participants were acquainted with the normative legal documents in this area, the procedure for conducting the population census, as well as with the stages of conducting the population census.
The participants received the answers for the questions of interest and importance to them. Similar meetings continue to be held locally on the ground.
