Employees of the Department of Statistics of the Syrdarya region held a seminar on the preparation and conduct of the population census at the Energy college of the city of Shirin.
The seminar was attended by R.Abdaliev, Deputy for Finance and Economic Affairs of the Energy College, students and specialists of the regional statistics department.
During the seminar, information was provided on the main goals and objectives of the population census in our republic, as well as on the preparatory processes in this direction.
It was also noted that in connection with the announcement of 2024 in our country as the "Year of Support for Youth and Business", the importance of the population census and that citizens, youth and entrepreneurs themselves can participate in its conduct.
The students' questions were answered in detail by the specialists of the statistics department.
