The Department of Statistics of the Kashkadarya region organized a round table on the topic “Population Census” at the Economic and Pedagogical University.
At the event, the chief specialist of the department for organizing and conducting census processes of the Regional statistics department, Kurbanov Avaz, spoke in detail about the experience of foreign countries in preparing for the population census and the work done, as well as about the tasks that should be implemented in the future.
During the seminar, special attention was paid to the work to be done to prepare maps of all existing cities and districts of the region, as well as drawing up plans for mahallas and rural areas.
The seminar also provided information on the organizational and methodological principles of conducting a population census, testing software and hardware, and technological processes for data processing.
Participants of the event received detailed answers from industry experts to their questions.
