On December 18 of this year, a training seminar on the population and agricultural census was organized in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. Responsible employees of the National Statistics Committee and deputies of the Legislative Chamber took part in it.
At the event, the Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on Statistics Z. Ziyaev made a presentation and spoke in detail about the socio-economic significance of the population and agricultural census, as well as the role of census processes in international practice.
Also, during the seminar, issues of organizing census activities, data collection and processing processes, and the use of digital technologies were discussed.
We remind you that from January 15 to February 28, 2026, a population and agricultural census will be conducted in our country.
The registration process will be organized in 2 stages: Stage 1 During January 15-31 - 17 days, it will be possible to register online using the OneID system through the census.stat.uz website.
Stage 2 February 4-28 - Members of the "Mahalla Seven" will go door-to-door and organize the registration process using tablets.
