On December 2 of the current year, the employees of the Division of “Organization and Conduct of Population Census Processes” of the Statistics Department of the Tashkent city held a seminar-meeting at the State Institute
of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan on the implementation of the 1st Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 710 dated November 11, 2020. Based on the measures set out in the Resolution, the corresponding tasks for the execution of the work were determined.
According to this Regulation, the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be conducted on November 1-25, 2023. In particular, after information about the pilot population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan which will be conducted on November 1-25, 2021 in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, Khiva city of the Khorezm region, as well as in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city, was provided, explanations were given regarding the works which must be done.
Within the framework of this theme, the participants were acquainted with the normative legal documents in this area, the procedure for conducting the population census, as well as with the stages of conducting the population census.
The participants received answers for the questions of interest and importance to them. Similar meetings continue to be held locally in areas.
