On November 18 of this year, a seminar on the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 710 of November 11, 2020 "On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023" was held at the branch of the Agrobank in the city of Namangan, Namangan region.
The seminar was attended by employees of the Namangan city statistics department and the Namangan city branch of Agrobank. At the seminar, the head of the Namangan city statistics department, N. Ubaydullaev, expressed his opinion on the essence and significance of the resolution and on the work done so far and the tasks that must be performed in the future.
In particular, this resolution provides clarifications on the work on conducting a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan from November 1 to 25, 2023 and that in the Republic of Uzbekistan, from November 1 to 25, 2021, activities for a population census in a test mode will be held in Khojaabad region of Andijan region, Yukarichirchik region of Tashkent region, Khiva city of Khorezm region and Yashnabad region of Tashkent city.
Also, this Resolution provides clarifications on the approval of the provision "on the procedure for preparing and conducting the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023", the amount of remuneration of persons involved in the process of the pilot population census, the "road map" for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023, as well as question forms for announcing results.
