On September 14, a seminar, dedicated to the programme of measures on the preparation for the conduct of a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022, was organized at the Jizzakh regional statistics department. 
The head of the regional statistics department - K. Kasimov and the heads of the district statistics departments of the Jizzakh region attended the seminar.
At the event, the head of the statistics department - Kasimov Kamolliddin Nuriddinovich dwelled on the problems and the solution of the primary tasks in preparation for the census. The deputy head of the Regional Statistics Department - Shukhrat Sharipov gave explanations on the use of cartographic materials necessary for the population census, spoke about the work done in the Jizzakh region, carried out an analysis of Table 2, detailed explanations were also given on the reconciliation of cadastral data and data from makhalla citizens’ gatherings for studying the existing differences in the names of streets and unnumbered houses.
The work done on the implementation of the set tasks, the regulatory and legal framework for the population census were discussed, and priorities for the future were determined at the seminar as well.
