On February 21 this year, a meeting was held with the leadership of the State Statistics Committee and representatives of UNFPA in Uzbekistan at the Wyndham metropolitan hotel to prepare for the census.
The meeting was opened by the deputy chairman of the State Statistics Committee M. Ziyadullaev.
At the event, Natalya Stankevich, an expert of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, shared the experience of Belarus in the census. In particular, detailed information was given on the development of a census map, the preparation of questionnaires and methodological manuals, the implementation of outreach and data processing.
At the end of the meeting, opinions on the topic were heard, and tasks that are planned to be implemented in the future were discussed.
