These days, a delegation of the State Statistics Committee employees is participating in meetings to study the experience of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus on conducting a census organized in Minsk (Belarus).
These meetings were organized by the Representative Office of the United Nations Population Fund in Uzbekistan, and Yuldoshev Z., Sidikov T. and Sidikov O. from the Demography and Labor Statistics Department, Kuznetsov M. from the Department of Information and Development Communication Technologies and Interactive Public Services, Saparov K. from the Department for Monitoring and Coordination of Open Data Portal from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Abdurakhmonov O. from the Tashkent City Department of Statistics took part in the meetings.
During the meetings, knowledge and experience on actual questions concerning the development of methodological and legal regulations on population censuses, the drawing up of the census program, the approbation of a population census procedure, and data collection and processing software are studied.
The study of the best practices of the CIS countries, in particular the Republic of Belarus, and the application of modern information and communication technologies at meetings in Minsk plays an important role in conducting the census in our country in 2022.
