On August 9, 2019, a seminar on the measures taken to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Approving the Concept of Conducting a Population Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022” was held.
This seminar was attended by the first deputies of district (city) khokims, representatives of regional statistical agencies, cadastre, self-government bodies, and representatives of regional territorial commissions. 
The deputy chairman of the State Statistics Committee M.Ziyadullaev, the head of the Demography and Labor Statistics Department K. Berdikulov, and the deputy head of the same Department Z. Yuldashev spoke at the seminar. In their reports, speakers detailed the work done to implement the Presidential Decree and the tasks that need to be completed.
Participants exchanged views on what should be taken into account in organizing and conducting the census, the problems and shortcomings, and the measures to be taken. The questions of the members of the territorial commissions were also answered.
