On August 13, 2019 in the khokimiyat of the Navoi region there was a seminar where the first deputies of the district (city) khokims, representatives of territorial statistics bodies, cadastre, self-government bodies, as well as representatives of territorial commissions participated.
The seminar was dedicated to events on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan УП №5655 dated February 5, 2019 “On approval of the Concept of conducting a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022”.
In the course of a seminar, the Deputy Chairman of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics - M. Ziyadullayev and the head of Division for formation of demographic indicators - Sh. Dusnayev told in detail about the work done on the population census and on the preparatory works on the population census. In addition to this, the necessity for the participation of local concerned bodies in preparatory works was emphasized.
In the course of a seminar, the proposals on the preparation of a population census were given by the representatives of territorial commissions. The detailed answers for participants’ questions were given as well.
